Olivia's prom was last weekend. She was the belle of the ball, thanks to me and my mom (who filled in all the sequins that had to be removed to sew the seams after the dress was done! it took her for days!) I'm pretty proud of the gown and how it turned out, and my beautiful sister.
Liv's lap sparkled on the way to dinner in the car. |
Liv and her date, Kyle, with my parents. |
she was a little nervous waiting for Kyle. |

I made three evening gowns during this semester. One for Liv, one for my evening wear class, and one for a school competition. The next two weeks will be dedicated to the latter gowns on construction and process. Tune in this weekend, and we'll start on the next gown!

ReplyDeleteHey! I'm looking for a tutorial on how to do godets/ mermaid dresses. Could you possibly tell me how you did the bottom? It's for a class project. I'd really appreciate it! thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea Sara Moon! Godets are so simple as well. I will get right on it... could be up by this Monday!
