My New BFF... who is actually a really great woman, and not some piece of clothing.

Today I met with Courtney Kendrick, the mastermind behind the cjanerun blog, Utah (and might I say, national) celebrity, and all around a beautiful person. I'll be making 5 dresses for Courtney for her postpartum body that she will have in a few short weeks. Courtney's last pregnancy ended with mu-mus and ill-fitting clothes that did not bring her back to her true self after giving birth, so she has called upon me to make her great clothes that are easy to breast-feed in while still cute-as-all.

I really like her, and not just because she is going to be making me famous, but she has a genuineness that lives beyond the blogging world. I am so excited for this opportunity, and Courtney will be doing a whole series on the process of me making her dresses.
be sure to check out at her blog, blog.cjanerun.com

and here as well!

  4. I just found your blog through Cjane's. As soon as I saw that picture of you in that blue shirt, I needed to know where you bought it. Then I read a little further, learned that you made it yourself, and now I'm here leaving you a comment to tell you that I think that you are absolutely fantastic. You are. I am so amazed by your talent! I know pretty clothes when I see them, but never in a million years could I actually design them myself. And even if I could, I wouldn't even know how to make them. Have you ever considered trying out for Project Runway? I could definitely picture you on the show, and then winning, and then becoming very famous.

  5. Hello!

I have been following CJane for a long time now and check her blog each morning. Yours will certainly also be on my favorites list! :<)

One look at the photos of you two together and it is obvious that you are true sisters. This will be an interesting partnership to watch as it is going to become something wonderful! :<)

Wishing you both all good things!

  6. I also found your blog from cjanes and i think you are amazing! I am looking for a full denim skirt that i could wear higher but it would still reach my knees or just above to stay modest, and i can't find one anywhere that is modest. could you help me out?

  7. OK - I also came to your blog through cjane's, and I love it! I am also a student (at BYU-Idaho), and also a seamstress, and have for years loved designing clothes sans pattern. For a long time I stuck to skirts only, but I'm slowly branching out into dresses and tops as well. It's nice to "meet" you!
